Samsung Galaxy Alpha support.

Using your phone as a Personal Hotspot.

The Wi-Fi hotspot feature lets you connect up to five other Wi-Fi enabled devices to the internet using your phone (also known as tethering). Before using your phone as a Wi-Fi hotspot, you should check whether your contract or internet Add-on includes tethering. You can find out more information about tethering on your phone here.

If no devices are connected to your Wi-Fi hotspot, it'll automatically turn itself off after 20 minutes. We recommend switching the Wi-Fi hotspot feature off if you're not using it, to save your battery.
