Using Fingerprint lock.

Fingerprint lock is a new screen lock option that lets you unlock your device with your fingerprint. Your phone has state-of-the-art fingerprint sensor technology that can register your fingerprint while setting up the screen lock, and then recognise it again to unlock the screen.

To set up Fingerprint lock:

  1. On the homescreen, tap Apps

  2. Tap Settings

  3. Tap Finger Scanner

  4. Tap Screen lock

  5. Tap Fingerprint

  6. Tap OK

  7. You'll need to swipe your chosen finger over the home button eight times

  8. In case your phone can't read your fingerprint, you'll need to set up a password. Tap Continue

  9. Confirm your password then tap OK

  10. You can add new fingerprints by tapping Fingerprint manager or change your back up password by tapping Change alternative password

Fingerprint lock will now be set up on your phone.
