Sony Xperia™ M2 support.

Using your phone as a Personal Hotspot.

Using your phone as a Wi-Fi hotspot lets you connect up to ten other Wi-Fi enabled devices to the internet using your phone (also known as tethering). Before using using the Wi-Fi hotspot feature, you should check whether your contract or internet Add-on includes tethering. You can find out more information about tethering on your phone here.

If no devices are connected to your Wi-Fi Hotspot, it will automatically turn itself off after 10 minutes. We recommend switching the Wi-Fi Hotspot feature off if you're not using it, to save your battery.
