Using Dropbox.

Dropbox is online storage that lets you bring files with you wherever you go. Using the Dropbox app on your phone also lets you automatically back up your photos and videos to Dropbox and access them on a computer. It'll keep your photos and videos safe if anything ever happens to your phone.

Find out how to:

Turn on camera upload.

Switch it on.

To turn on camera upload:

  1. On the homescreen, tap the Apps icon

  2. Tap Dropbox

  3. Swipe to the left to see features of Dropbox

  4. If you already have a Dropbox account, tap Sign in. If you don't, tap Sign Up and follow the onscreen instructions

  5. Tap Turn on Camera Upload to switch it on. You'll need to switch Include videos on if you want videos uploaded too

Your photos and videos will now upload when you're connected to Wi-Fi. If you want to upload them using mobile data you'll need to update the settings. You should leave it on Wi-Fi only if you're not on an All You Can Eat data plan.

To switch it on:

  1. Tap the Menu icon then Settings

  2. Tap How to upload

  3. Tap Wi-Fi or data plan to switch it on

Dropbox will now be set up on your phone.
