Connecting to the internet.

There are two ways for you to connect to the internet on your phone. You can connect by using our network or by using Wi-Fi.

If your phone came directly from Three, you shouldn't need to do anything to use our network to connect to the internet. All our phones come with the internet already installed and ready to use. If you're having trouble, you'll need to make sure that our network is enabled and the internet settings are correct. Also, if you're not using Wi-Fi you should switch it off to avoid any connection issues and save your battery.

If you're using a non-Three phone, you'll need to update your internet settings.

To make sure you can connect through our network:


  1. From the Apps menu, tap Settings

  2. Tap More...

  3. Tap Mobile networks

  4. Make sure that Mobile data traffic is ticked

    You can also connect to the internet using Wi-Fi if you have a Wi-Fi connection at home or at work.


To connect to Wi-Fi:


  1. From the Settings menu, switch Wi-Fi on then tap Wi-Fi

  2. Available networks will be displayed. Tap on the network you want to connect to

  3. Enter the wireless password and tap Connect

    If you're using a non-Three phone or having issues connecting to the internet using our network, you should check your internet settings.


To check your internet settings:


  1. From the App menu, tap Settings

  2. Tap More...

  3. Tap Internet settings

  4. Tap Accept. Your phone will now connect to Sony and update your internet settings

    You should now be connected to the internet.
