Apple iPad Air 2 support.

Using Touch ID.

Touch ID is a new screen lock option that lets you unlock your device with your fingerprint. Your phone has state-of-the-art fingerprint recognition technology that can register your fingerprint while setting up the screen lock, and then recognise it again to unlock the screen.

To set up Touch ID:

  1. On the homescreen, tap Settings

  2. Tap Touch ID & Passcode

  3. Switch iPhone Unlock on

  4. You'll be asked to touch the home button several times so your phone can memorise your fingerprint. Tap Continue

  5. Enter a Passcode. You'll be asked to confirm it

  6. You can add more than one fingerprint to unlock your phone by tapping Add a fingerprint... again. You can also switch iTunes & App Store to use Touch ID when making purchases

Touch ID will now be set up on your phone.
