When you turn on your new phone for the first time, you'll be taken through a series of steps to help get you started:

1. You'll be asked to choose a language. Once chosen, tap Next
2. You'll see a welcome page which will take you through the following steps:


• Basics
• Applications
• Connections

To continue tap Next, or skip this section by tapping Skip

3. Set the Date and Time, tap Next
4. Learn how to use the onscreen keyboard, tap Next





5. Learn how to use Applications, tap Next





6. Under Connections you can:
   • Import contacts from your SIM
   • Learn how to connect to Wi-Fi
   • Set up a Google account on your phone. It's a good idea to set up a Google account because it will help you get the best out of your phone's features. You also need a Google account to download apps from Android Market. Once you're done, tap Next





7. Your phone should now be set up, tap Finish

Your phone is now ready to be used.
