Changing your settings.
You can use the System section of the dashboard to help protect your device and troubleshoot any problems. Below are some things you can find here:
Your device has an individual serial number, IMEI and MAC address which can be found here:
You can secure your device by changing the dashboard login password.
To set a new password:
- Enter your Current Password. If you've never changed it before, the default password is admin
- Enter a New Password
- Confirm your new password
- Click Apply
From here you can reset your device to its factory settings. Once you've restored your settings, you'll need to use the original device name (SSID) and Wi-Fi key. You'll find them printed on the back of your device.
To restore your default settings, click Restore.
If you're having connection problems and your device is in another room, you can use this option to restart it from your dashboard.
To restart your device, click Reboot.
Connecting your Mobile Wi-Fi to the internet while roaming abroad
Your Mobile Wi-Fi isn’t set up to automatically connect to the internet while roaming abroad, to prevent you from incurring unexpected data usage and charges.
Although you can roam abroad in one of our Go Roam destinations at no extra cost, there may be occasions when you are near a border or in an unsupported location which doesn’t support Go Roam.
If you change your settings to automatically connect to the internet, you might connect to another network and incur additional roaming charges in these circumstances.
We don’t recommend that you make this change, but if you would like to do so, please follow the steps below:
- Open up a new internet browser and type 192.168.1.1 into the address bar, then press enter
- Go to the homepage then click on Connection settings
- Enter the password: admin
- Enable the Data Roaming option
