LG G6 support.

Setting up your phone.

When you turn on your new LG phone for the first time, you'll be taken through a number of steps to help get you started:

  1. Choose your language and Accessibility requirements if you need to, then tap Next

  2. You'll be asked how you want to connect to the internet. Tick Mobile Network to use our network. If you want to connect to a Wi-Fi network, tick Wi-Fi to set it up. Tap Next

  3. Choose whether to restore a backup from another device, or set up your device as new

  4. To download apps, you'll need a Google account. Tap create a new account and follow the onscreen instructions if you don't have an account, or enter your Google email if you do. You can skip this step by tapping Skip

  5. If you sign in to a Google account or make one, you'll be asked to agree with their Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, tap Accept if you do

If you haven't signed in using Google, you'll be asked to give your phone a name to personalise some apps. Enter your first and last name and tap Next

  6. You'll be asked to set up a screen lock to protect your phone. If you don't want to, select No, thanks and tap Next. You can set up a screen lock later

  7. You'll then be asked to agree to various legal documents, both required and optional. Select whichever you’re happy with, and tap Done.

Your phone is now ready to use.
