You should back up your pictures, videos and music occasionally just in case your phone gets damaged or needs replacing. To back up your data to you'll need the latest version of Sony PC Companion software. You can get this from Sony's website.

To manage your phone's data:

1. Connect your phone to your computer using the USB cable and open Sony PC Companion





2. In File Manager, click Start





3. Your phone's memory will open in a folder on your computer

You can use this folder to move pictures, videos and music to and from your phone.
