Making an insurance claim

It’s quick and easy to make your insurance claim. Just check through the information below to get started.

Before you make a claim

Check your insurance terms and conditions to see if you’re covered. You’ll need your IMEI number so we can identify your device, but we’ll show you how to do that when you start your claim.

If you think your device has been stolen and your policy covers this, you’ll need a Crime Reference Number (CRN) from the police. If it happened abroad, please report it to the local police.

If you took out insurance with us before 6 March 2020, you’ll have our old insurance product, which is called Three Rescue. Please see Managing your Three Rescue policy for more information about how to make your claim.

If you’d prefer to make a claim over the phone, call us on 333 free from your Three phone (if possible) or call 0333 338 1001 from any other phones (standard call charges apply).

Our call centre is open 08:00 to 21:00 in the week, and 08:00 to 18:00 on the weekends (we’re closed on all UK public holidays).

After you make a claim

You’ll receive a confirmation email telling you what to do next. For all claims, please follow these steps:

In the event of theft or loss, we’ll need to a copy of the police report as soon as possible. The police report should an IMEI number and a description of the event – including the date, time and location. We may also check your account to confirm that you’ve reported this to Three and that your SIM card has been blocked.

Checking an ongoing insurance claim

If you’ve made a claim and you need to check its progress, call us on 333 from your Three phone, or 0333 338 1001 (standard charges apply).
