- How long will you keep my deposit for?

- If you took out a plan directly from us - by calling our sales team or going into a Three Store - we’ll hold your deposit for 6 months.
- If you bought your plan from another retailer, we’ll hold your deposit for 12 months.

If you have a SIM Only plan, we'll hold your deposit for 6 months. Or until you cancel the contract, whichever is earlier.
If you cancel your plan under the money-back guarantee, you'll also get your deposit refunded at the same time.
This policy doesn’t affect your statutory rights.
- When can I have my deposit refunded?

We'll automatically send you a cheque to refund your deposit when 6 consecutive bills have been paid.
If you cancel your account under the money-back guarantee, we'll send you a refund by cheque within 28 days.

- What are the eligibility rules for deposit refunds?

When your deposit is due for a refund, we'll check your payment history to make sure your last 6 bills have been paid on time. If they have, we'll refund your deposit automatically. If one or more payments have missed the due date, we'll hold the deposit until 6 consecutive bills have been paid on time.

Ill health or a prison sentence
In these cases we'll credit the deposit amount to your account rather than issuing a cheque for the refund.

The account holder has passed away
We can't refund the deposit until we've received the relevant paperwork and closed the account. Once we've done this, we'll process the deposit as usual and send the refund to the executor.
