Downloading an app.

The steps below are based on using the latest software. If the screenshots or steps look different to you, you should update your software, to keep your phone working smoothly and securely.

To download an app:

  1. Tap App Store

  2. To find an app in App Store:

    • tap Apps to browse apps. You can scroll through categories like This Week’s Favourites, New Apps We Love, Top Paid, Top Free
    • or search for an app by tapping Search. Enter the name or type of app you’re looking for and tap Search.

  3. Tap on the app you want to download. If you've chosen an app that you need to pay for, tap the price. If you've chosen a free app, tap Get

  4. Tap Install

  5. You'll be asked to sign in using your Apple ID.

    Once you've signed in, the app will start to download.
