Sending a text.

You can send and receive text messages from your Mobile Wi-Fi dashboard.

To send text messages, you'll need to have credit in your account or an Add-on. You can't receive email, picture or video messages on your dashboard.

Your Mobile Broadband number for sending and receiving text messages is on the dashboard homescreen.

When you get a message on your device, you'll see the envelope on the display. You'll also be able to see that you've got a message in the status bar of your your Mobile Wi-Fi dashboard. The new message will show in SMS.

To read a text message:

  1. Open the dashboard by going to http://3.home/ or in your browse

  2. Click the message icon in the status bar or select Inbox

  3. If you haven't already logged in, you'll be asked to log in. If you haven't changed it, the default password is admin

  4. Click on a message to read it

To send a text message:

  1. From the dashboard, click SMS

  2. Click New message

  3. Enter a number in the Recipients field

  4. Type your message in the Content field

  5. Click Send
